cor 0 Posted December 24, 2005 Hi all, has anyone here seen a YS90DX internal O ring leak? In the middle of a trip one of our strobes flooded in the internal 0 ring (battery compartment was fine). We ofcourse never touched that o ring before this. I took it apart and didnt notice anything strange. I rinsed it with fresh water, cleaned it a bit, dried it, and afterwards it worked for about a day After that it started to behave erratic. I'll probably give it another good cleaning and try again. It might have been bumped on the boat by someone, but it seems unlikely. Just one of those things I guess.. Luckily we bring spares Cor Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

UWPhotoTech 0 Posted January 12, 2006 I've never seen the main o-ring fail but I have seen cracked cases or more commonly leaking through the sync cord o-ring. Have also seen the sync sockets forced and loosened on occasion. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
