DesertEagle 2 Posted January 19, 2006 I'm not getting one until it has a button for julienne carrots.
UWPhotoTech 0 Posted January 19, 2006 what's the "call Spock" button for ?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This may be over simplifying, but I believe it's to "call Spock". You may need to be a Star Trek fan to get that one!
Giles 1 Posted January 19, 2006 even though i am a canon man .. i don't see the need for an upgrade until it makes me chocolate milk in the morning before a photoshoot. (nice joke photo)

Cerianthus 55 Posted January 19, 2006 yea yeah, give me some credit... if spock comes when the 3d's not working, he will only reply "thats highly illogical" and leave the camera broken. I think Scotty will be your better bet :-)
Tom_Kline 137 Posted January 20, 2006 what's the "call Spock" button for ?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If the 'mind meld' function does not work for you, Spock might be able to help! Live long and prosper! Tom
Paul Kay 46 Posted January 20, 2006 Nobody's mentioned that downright unstable di-lithium power source. Shouldn't it have a "call Scotty" system too!
ssra30 0 Posted January 20, 2006 What good is 'call Scotty' button? All he ever said was I don't think she can take it anymore? What would be useful is the cloaking device button so I can approach all the skittish fish with no problem! Hopefully I won't have to decloak when I press the shutter ala new cloaking device in Star Trek VII or VIII or whatever movie it was!
UWPhotoTech 0 Posted January 20, 2006 All funny stuff folks, as I laugh away and tried to explain... Everyone a work now knows I am a complete GEEK!

eloesch 0 Posted January 23, 2006 Clearly this cannot be production model. I was assured that it would have a 14" diagonal TFT screen and PhotoShop pre-loaded. - Beth (IT manager by day)
kriptap 0 Posted January 23, 2006 One nice function of this camera I just learned about is if you have a problem you just beam it back to Canon and then when fixed they beam it right back!
