segal3 0 Posted February 2, 2006 Would it be possible for any of you with Seacam housings to take a few photos of the (inside and outside) of the back as the viewfinder is assembled/removed from the back? I would greatly appreciate it. PM is fine as well.
3@5 0 Posted February 2, 2006 sorry matt, gear is all packed as i am leaving tomorrow, if no one else can provide in the mean time i will try and do while in lembeh and post some photos then... one key thing is:never forget the clips (not sure if that is the right name for that circular item) on the inside of the housing that secures the viewfinder... kcf955 1 Posted February 3, 2006 See if this helps: Seacam Viewfinder Change Out Notes in: #4 Use one finder of one hand to hold the delrin ring in place, with the other hand use a finger to pry the other half of the delrin ring out of its grove. #9 When putting the viewfinder back make sure it is fully seated against the housing. This will ensure the delrin snap ring gets into the grove in #10. Keith

kcf955 1 Posted February 3, 2006 I think it is a "Seacam-a-ikelite" Ikelite front half of housing w/ Seacam back half....best of both worlds
