I am haading to Palau in July and was hoping for some recommendations regarding which lense to use at Blue Corner. My current lenses are the Nikkors 16 mm, 105 and 60 but I am willing to look at other lenses as well. Would appreciate any advice.

Use the 16! There are large caves and the drift can be fast.

Depends on what you want to shoot. When you drop into Blue Corner you are on a vertical wall with lots of seafans and soft coral, the 16mm would be good here. ALso it would be good with the big school of jacks, black snappers, and barracudas.

However....if you are after sharks then the 60 is your better choice.

I am assuming you will be in Palau for a week or so, you will certainly do Blue Corner on more than one occasion. I would recommend the 16mm if you do Blue Holes and then drift to the corner (outgoing tide), the 60mm if you go the other way (incoming tide). There are so many photo ops on that site its ridiculous....

i used to use 15mm, 20mm, and 28mm on my Nikonos and never had a bad photo dive....doesn't matter what lens you bring, you will find great things to shoot...

You don't need to take any with you.......take me and we'll share! loved blue corner 3 years ago, you'll need to do it more than once, so try the 16mm first then you'll have a really good idea for the next time.
