A LOT OF MY PHOTOS WILL BE WIDE ANGLE SHOTS SHOULD I BUY ONE DS-125 WHICH SHOULD OPERATEWITH ONLY A SYNC CORD GIVING ETTL I THINK,PLEASE CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG.OR WILL I GO FOR TWO DS-50'S , WILL THIS NEED 4100.5 REMOTE SENSOR TO OPERATE SLAVE ? ANY HELP MUCH APPRECIATED,THANKS..MARK
dhaas 33 Posted April 8, 2006 Mark, One DS125 will certainly be a bit warmer (4800K versus DS50s at 5700K) for the wide angle lens you're planning on using. But if you did go with two DS50s, a dual cord would still give you eTTL control of both (dialed in from the housing back at the same EV compensation level.) Check Ikelite's web site for many photos I've taken with one DS125 strobe. Certainly simplifies things until you get into more advanced shooting. Hope this helps! kdietz 0 Posted April 9, 2006 I would go for the DS-125 ..... down the road when you get a wider lens, you'll need another one and the DS-50's won't cover a 10-20 or whatever nearly as well Karl
ROSER12351 0 Posted April 9, 2006 Thanks Karl and David for your help.Think Ill go with one ds-125 to start with and can expand to two at a later date.
