sharky1961 2 Posted April 16, 2006 Hi, I want to mail some pictures from my last trip to Lembeh with my nikon D200 in sealux housing to the forum and I don't know how to do this: Questions: 1: do you sent them in s-RGB colorsettings? 2. how big should the picture be ( pixelsize) 3. at what settings is your monitor calibrated? gamma and whitepoint ?? Steve Simonsen 0 Posted April 16, 2006 just a tip. I use the D2X and found that shooting in the Adobe profile is more to my liking. Also I'm not sure of all the color settings available on the D200. But if you have three color modes I found the one for Nature as opposed to portraits has more vivid realistic color redition. Good luck have fun. Wish I just came back from Lembeh. Arnon_Ayal 1 Posted April 16, 2006 sRGB is better for the internet since most of the browser won't shoe Adobe too well and the colors usually looks washed. Don't remember the max size here, make a search it written somewhere, any way its better to upload the images to other place in the net and put here only the link for the images. Guest echeng Posted April 16, 2006 I believe max size is 64kb per image, if you upload to Wetpixel, but you should try to upload somewhere else and link to the images with: [img=http://yourserver.com/image.jpg] You can convert to srgb before saving for web by using Adobe Photoshop CS2 (look in the Edit menu). I recommend 450-500 pixels wide. Gamma should be 2.2 for best looking images on the majority of computers. Or, you could use 1.8 and satisfy the 5% of us using Macs.
