great pics and subjects! Nice variety of Rhinopius.

Awesome moray shot in panel 2. One of best I've ever seen. The goby and shrimp shot - you make it look so easy (not)

they're all nice. well done.

Good job Ron. There are some very nice shots there. Images are sharp and well lit. I like the moray shot very much too.

If I may just venture one constructive criticism, the composition on a lot of shots is a bit awkward, with the main point of interest (e.g. the eye) in the centre of the picture. This results in an unbalanced shot with large negative space on one side.

Ron,

Very bitchin stuff. I love when photographers take a different approach on composition. You have some fantastic stuff. Nice job.

Very nice. I think if you cropped that last shot a little bit to eliminate some of the negative space it would be outstanding.

Ron,

I liked all of the behavioral shots. I loved the frogfish(?) with the tail of a fish sticking out of its mouth. Anyway nice stuff.

Ron,

These are excellent, not just great pics but unusual captures of uncommon species. This is what makes a photo interesting for me, not just a nice photo but of unusual species, behaviors, phases not captured much, etc.

The yellow phase of the blue ribbon eel free-swimming is fantastic. Not only a fantastic pic but the yellow (female) phase is so darn uncommon!! Well Done!!!!!! B)

And two varities of rhinopias!!!!!!! paddle-flap (eschmeyeri) and weedy (frondosa)!! WOW!! And in different colors, different behaviors, even eating a fish!!

What is up with all the rhinopias?? Are they breeding or?? I thought I was lucky to catch two (frondosa), male and female in Alor, but you have really hit the jackpot with a really uncommon fish!

Ron very well done, nice pics and really interesting species.

Thanks a bunch, Carol
