hoovermd 0 Posted August 16, 2006 I'm planning my 2008 travel schedule and would like to go o Cayman Brac. I'm seeking recommendations on the best time of year to go as well as land based operators for lodging and diving. I shoot WA and wifey shoots Macro so something for everybody would be nice. I'd like to get to Little Cayman too. We would be planning 7-10 days and would probably do 4 dives a day (or night). There would probably be some too. Oh yeah, food is important also. Giles 1 Posted August 17, 2006 I like the Brac Beach Resort and Reef Divers over there. I haven't been there in a few years though. http://www.bracreef.com/ http://www.reefdivers.ky/cb/ they will dive both islands .. although my advie would be to do some time in Grand Cayman .. don't know who you could dive with there ? any ideas Patrick ? then do 4 days in little Cayman and then 3 in Cayman Brac .. then you get some time everywhere and won't get bored of the bars .. although Grand Cayman is obviously the best for nitelife. echeng 0 Posted August 17, 2006 I much preferred Little Cayman over Brac, but Brac had some interesting personalities. Check out this month's Sport Diver for an article of mine on the sister islands (Megan Padilla wrote, and I shot).

critidoc 0 Posted August 17, 2006 Diving is great in Little Cayman at the Little Cayman Beach resort or one of their condos. LC is a bit of a pain to get to. Minimal nightlife, not much to do other than dive so the rest of the family may not be happy. Brac is served by some jets out of the US as well as jumpers from GC. More to do on the island than LC. And if memory serves the only real non bar food in Brac is Captains Table .. or the resorts. But yes Little Cayman Beach resort is my pick for little Cayman also ! And yes the Brac has great flights from the US ..
