buddy 7 Posted January 27, 2007 I am certainly not a computer guru but facing a seriosus problem with my readyNAS file server system. I bought a new computer and connected it after proper installation (win xp) to ReadyNAS. The old one and the new one have access to the ReadyNAS -everything looks fine - but the files are only visible from the old computer. From the new computer I can locate the file server by its name and ip address in windows explorer and also through the browsing function in ReadyNAS software, but the actual files are not shown there....maybe something with the shares functions in ReadyNAS or with network connections under windows??? appreciate any leads, thanks, juerg Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
