Peckish Turtle

Recommended Posts

This hawksbill turtle at Koh Bon got a taste for my lens. Presumably it probably mistook it for a jellyfish.

The full clip is 3:36 and I didn't know what to do with it. Too long to post as a whole clip I thougt so I speeded up the 2nd half 200% and slowed down the last bit. Entertaining or not? I guess it might work better in a compilation of out-takes when I get round to making one.

Shot with my Sony VX2000 in Gates housing.

Also this doesn't play very smoothly for me. How about you?

Nick

That was a loose clip there.

Wacko turtle, great work dude.

What's the red on the turtle, is that paint?

Wags it's just some sort of marine growth/algae brought out strongly by the white balance. Hawksbills here often have that whereas the green turtles have a nice clean shell.

Music is from www.incompetech.com The guy there lets you use it royalty-free as long as he gets a credit. He's got a great variety but not much typical underwater stuff.

Nice clip Nick! The turtle opening up his chops and snapping shut like that at the end was great to watch!

Definitely the type of clip that stands out for its uniqueness, cute as the ladies say. I loved it.
