JennyHuang 2 Posted July 24, 2007 Dear all, I am Jenny. This is slideshow from Sipadan. All W/A photos were taken by Tokina 10-17mm fisheye. I like this lens very much. Thanks everyone for your viewing and comments! "Kindly " suggestions are welcome too! http://www.flickr.com/photos/diverslog/set...871400632/show/ Cheers, Jenny

loftus 42 Posted July 24, 2007 As always, very nice Jenny. My only comment is that some of the reef shots seem to be inadequately lit on the periphery. A difficulty with such a wide field of view. What strobes are you using.

sgietler 1 Posted July 24, 2007 nice photos Jenny, lots of good ones in there.. how do you compare your 10-17mm with your nikon 10.5mm fisheye in terms of speed of focus and sharpness? I have a 10.5, I was looking into the 10-17mm... thanks, scott
JennyHuang 2 Posted July 24, 2007 (edited) Thanks everyone for the encouragements. As always, very nice Jenny. My only comment is that some of the reef shots seem to be inadequately lit on the periphery. A difficulty with such a wide field of view. What strobes are you using. Thanks loftus. You have great eyes for the details. I took these shots with INON Z240 and housed SB800. The only one different setting from flash with before is that i change the camera to "rear sync" because i can not change directly from housing. ( in order to take the motion photos like shark or turtle.) The w/a from Sipadan in that day all have this setting. I can not see the different results from monitor between "rear snyc" with "front snyc"..And i feel a little confused. Now i see!!! Hehe..! Maybe there is another reason! There is an pro. article from Dr.Alex in UWP37 to tell about the difference in 10.5,12-24 and 10-17. http://www.uwpmag.com/subscribe/download.php Still learn and try. You will only notice a difference with slow shutter speeds and fast moving subjects, where the motion blur will appear behind the subject as it should. I'm not sure why Rear Curtain Synch is not the default function.
