craig nelson 4 Posted August 27, 2007 Hi All I'm asking this question on behalf of friend, Basically i he wants to purchase the sigma 10-20mm, currently he has only the canon 18-55mm using the recommended Sealux port of 120/99 Sealux do a whole range of domes just like ikelite or anyone else. The recommended for the sigma is 120/94 now in my infinite wisdom i'm assuming that the 120 is the dome radius and that the /99 /94 is the extension length or total length of the port. So could anyone confirm that the Sigma 10-20mm will indeed fit into the 120/99 dome, it seems really stupid to buy a new dome for the sake of 5mm. he can just zoom in a little to take away any vignetting. also, sealux list zoom gears in SHORT LONG. from this should i take it that they are ONE SIZE and you pack out to fit your lens ? kind regards craig
clausmeyer 0 Posted September 4, 2007 hi craig, here is claus meyer from germany.hope i can help you.the easiest way to get it right is to go to sealux.de and speak to mr ostertag,he´ll for sure give you best help.i´m using the fisheyeport with a sigma fisheye for the canon 5d.for the sigma 10-20 zoom i´m using the same port with a small converterport to get about 1cm distance for the housing to the fisheyeport.this works perfect.hope that helps, otherwise mail back.we have been together on galapagosagressor quite a couple of years ago,you just won that year of diving price, and sent me your video after the trip. very nice to see,you are still into diving!!! safe diving and have a good time claus Hi All I'm asking this question on behalf of friend, Basically i he wants to purchase the sigma 10-20mm, currently he has only the canon 18-55mm using the recommended Sealux port of 120/99 Sealux do a whole range of domes just like ikelite or anyone else.
