I love, and spend a lot of time in PNG. That being said, I also like Raja Ampat and absolutely LOVE Lembeh.

depends what you are hoping to see !

 

Are you after adrenalin drift dives, lazy dives hunting for critters or a variety.

 

for me i would head for manado if i was thinking of land based diving, a week diving bunaken and a week diving lembeh.

 

if its a liveaboard you are after then i would head off to komodo.

 

october is a funny month to go because its monsoonish. if you said november i would have said similan and surin island and burma.
