Islandbound 1 Posted November 28, 2007 These are all from the last several days and all were found at about 40 to 50 feet off the coast of Okinawa. 1) I think this is Chromodoris elizabethina... 2) This is either Chromodoris lochi or Chromodoris willani...? 3) Probably Chromodoris reticulata but the yellow color is different than is what is in my handbook. 4) Unknown and not in my book 5) If I understand correctly this is Flabellina exoptata but my book does not list this as living in my local area... 6) Not sure 7) Not sure
scubamarli 5 Posted November 28, 2007 1) I agree 2) is C. willani 3) I think is Chromodoris tinctoria (C. reticulata is not a valid name, as far as I know) 4) is Chromodoris fidelis 5) is Flabellina exoptata 6) looks like Chromodoris aureopurpurea 7) is quite stunning and I have not seen it before...send it to Bill! Or contact Bob Bolland at his Okinawa Slug Site: http://www.rfbolland.com/okislugs/ Cheers, Marli
