rodriguezfelix 0 Posted January 18, 2008 It’s beyond instant digital feedback and produces images on par and argubably better than results I’ve ever achieved with 35mm film. If I was any doubt on getting this camera, this got me. I Can´t wait...
pakman 0 Posted January 19, 2008 (edited) ooh, nice sunballs... I suspect we're going to see a lot of D200 and D70s rigs for sale on the classifieds soon. And maybe a few Canon 20D/30D's... Edited January 19, 2008 by pakman

MikeVeitch 0 Posted January 19, 2008 see Matt, Eric thinks i am in Mexico.. "Oh, and Mike -- you are WHERE." hehe Surprisingly enough, its Atlantic coast Mexico.. i would have figured Pacific.. unless those tricky people at google are tricking me and there is more than one.. Now i want Berk to do a whole trip report on that trip, can't find one on backscatter site

davichin 18 Posted January 19, 2008 great pictures of silfish. Just seeing one is a very rare thing so seing so many AND photographing them has to be very special. About the sunballs I have to say that these are very good but I would like see some deeper ones where the cyan is stronger; the D200 is also able to get nice shallow sunballs but struggles in deeper waters... Jettbritnell 0 Posted January 19, 2008 WOW!, indeed. The D300 I'm sure is a technological marvel, but I'm drooling over the sailfish images. Way to go, Berkley! Cheers all, Jett
Craig Ruaux 0 Posted January 19, 2008 Sweet mother of mercy I could care less about the sunballs. That last shot of the sailfish with the bait ball - swwweeeeet Isla Mujeres on Google Maps
james 0 Posted January 19, 2008 There was a guy on here last year trying to put together a sailfish trip. Did y'all miss that? I signed up, but the trip fell through, probably because all the 'big names' had all the good boats locked up by then. Unfortunately, this time of year you get cold fronts coming through every week so you have very hit and miss weather. Great shots Berk, I'm impressed. Cheers James
echeng 0 Posted January 19, 2008 It was one name in particular who managed to prevent our trip from going. (it wasn't Berkley) Berk offered me a spot for a few days, which was cool. Perrine and Seifert were there with Berk, but Seifert couldn't go until the end of the trip, and I could have had the early days! But alas, I couldn't go either. From what I heard, the weather conditions were terrible and they had very limited time in the water.
pakman 0 Posted January 20, 2008 (edited) Seifert were there with Berk... so that explains the ugly yellow wetsuit above the whaleshark Edited January 20, 2008 by pakman
BHC 1 Posted January 20, 2008 Fantastic sailfish. And the whale shark isn't bad either!
cor 0 Posted January 20, 2008 Wow, I may have to switch from my d2x to a d300. Not only is it a lot smaller, it's got pretty much the same features, if not better. Cor
