tjaz 0 Posted April 6, 2008 Hallo! I have a plan to modify an old UK-germany housing for eos 10(analog) to fit eos 20d. I am planing to build the back out of plexi glas. Has anyone any idea how thick plexy sould i use? I was thinking to use 1cm (ikelite uses 9.5mm). I am planing to use the housing to 40m maximal 60m. How does plexi fail under pressure? Does it just brake or does it give some signs before braking? If i would like to use thicker glass i would have problem with the optical viewfinder beeing to far away from the body.
