These are beautiful Jeff!

I especially like the green "algae"? shot. Lovely.

And the Janolus sp. nudibranch. Has that ever been named? It is such an enchanting slug!

Thanks for posting, Carol

Wow, these are great Jeffrey,

Somehow, your subjects really glow - impressive. Is this a special lighting technique?

Cheers

James

Thank you Miss Carol for your kind words. I was doing a deco stop when I noticed the green algae on a rock.

I try to look for the beauty hidden in common subjects.

I use the Canon Picture Profile and tweak the settings on my camera.

Before I started to use Canon Picture profile, I had to do several things in PS. I realize that I could tweak my Camera using Picture Profile which automatically makes adjustments to get the best picture out of a entry level DSLR (Canon 400d)

I am so excited to bring my D300 in to the water soon.

Thank you Sir Adam.

Guys a little update... I finally got around to calibrating my Dell LCD Monitor - borrowed my brother's sypder. I was horrified that the photos are super saturated after calibration.

I've readjusted the canon profile in my camera.

I'll be posting new photos later in the evening.

They don't look super saturated to me, maybe I need a spyder.
