MikeO 5 Posted August 6, 2008 How nice? The Sedona is quite a nice place -- nice "resort" hotel. I stayed there for a couple nights in May. Thanks Re Manado overnight: There are a couple of places where you do not have to go through town (Manado) traffic, and you get a sweet ride through the country side. High end (4 star) Santika Resort (They have a PADI 5 star facility: Thalassa Manado on site if you need a last minute SCUBA thingy) www.thalassa.net Low end: The Four Fish Lodge (run by a Dutch couple) and easy walk to the above mentioned dive center, pool, good food, and they are a great transport to airport. ww.the4fish.com Medium: There is also the Bahowo Lodge: a guest house (large and roomy, w a/c) run by a British couple situated in a quaint seaside fishing village, but better if you have a couple of days. leonandclaudia 3 Posted August 14, 2008 There is a high end resort only 20 minutes from the airport, called Kima Bajo, beautiful rooms, beautiful view, beautiful spa, almost like a Bali resort. We stayed there a few months ago and would definitely recommend the place. Ritzy is 35 minutes away, getting a bit old, but still very comfortable, close to all the shops and restaurants, then there is the fairly new and shiny Quality inn, by far the best hotel in Manado downtown at the moment.
