pakman 0 Posted August 22, 2008 here are some shots of them setting up the underwater cameras at the Cube. Looks like most of them were indeed connected by cables...

fotoscubo714 0 Posted August 24, 2008 here are some shots of them setting up the underwater cameras at the Cube. Looks like most of them were indeed connected by cables... My suspicion confirmed . Now we should be able to get rid of this remote cable mess by using the water's excellent transmission of sound frequencies. Get a RF remote set up and you can take, review and forward your picture remotely with your cell phone? I know, call me crazy...LOL.

Marjo 8 Posted August 29, 2008 (edited) Completely off topic.. but looking at the image above of an army of beige west clad photogs made me snicker. Do we still HAVE to wear those things? I mean, you cannot possibly stuff lenses and flash units in their pockets without feeling like a lopsided caravan. It was practical in the days of film but you don't need it for carrying extra compact flash cards. Beige might stil be a great color to wear when lurking for ducks, but the camouflage aspect is not all that necessary at sporting events. I'm just saying...
