Olympus PTE03 and Athena TTL converter

I have the pte03 for the e410 and am trying to sync my two ys110 strobes to it through the athena ttl converter but cannot get the camera to sync up with the flashes. have occasionaly got it to work when the camera is in underwater mode but have not managed to get it to work in manual mode. Any one have any suggestions or has used this setup before. Looking for any pointers that anyone may have.
