Neptun 100 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Is the seacam arms and clamps is the best? is it really worth the money? now i'm using ULCS arms and clamp, can i fit Seacam clamps on ULCS arms? i just got 3500$ from seacam and i don't know how to spend it... Thanks Amir
AndyBarker 6 Posted November 16, 2008 HI, I use a Seacam system with the arms/ clamps & fine them great to use, as for cost I don,t think their is a lot in it as you do get the clamp & the arm for the price, I would also say that they should fit other strobe arms as the ball on the end are mostly the same size, my Inon strobe ball adaptors fit my Seacam clamps. Are these clamps the best? well thats a matter of opinon, I look at it you pay your money for what type of arms & clamps you want & as long as they do the job you & you are happy thats great. Seacam products are all manufactured to a exellent standard, are they the best, well I think so!! Andy
Steve Williams 0 Posted November 16, 2008 (edited) i just got 3500$ from seacam and i don't know how to spend it... Thanks Amir Hi Amir, If I was you and had $3500 Seacam dollars I'd be thinking about upgrading from your D50 S&S housing to a shiny new one from Seacam for a new D300. Just my two cents. If you have any trouble spending it, I know some poor belabored underwater photographer types who accept contributions. Cheers, Steve Edited November 16, 2008 by Steve Williams
