Patima has announced their G10 housing:

It would appear that it is similar to their G9 housing in that is has two ports and has 67mm threads.

So along with this housing, 10Bar's

and Fish-Eye's

OK I'm not that up on the differences between the housings, so can someone help me ?

Do either of the aluminum housings allow true ttl or are they both triggered by fiberoptic cable?

I thought the ikelite was not triggered by a fiberoptic cable, but triggered electrically?

All three allow fiber optics which with at least Inon allows true ttl. I am not familiar enough Sea&Sea. The former two allows electronic firing. I do not know if there has been electronic circuitry developed for electronic tttl.

hanachan,

I'm currently researching housing for G10s. Just wondering, is that a macro lens? Who is the manufacturer, and of course, are you happy with the results?

thanks,

hart

Good to see there's a lot of options out there. If I were looking into getting one though, I'd be paying close attention to which offers attachment wide angle lenses. I know Ikelite haven't been able to figure this out yet.

I handled the Patima housing yesterday. It's quite a beast and it allows full use of all the buttons, including the jog dial. Strobe has to be external though.

This is a close up lens INON UCL-330. This enables your camera to approach the object about 30cm. Recent modification of G10 housing was reported at the DIY section of this forum.
