diverdon 1 Posted April 24, 2009 These look to me like they may have been shot (if using a slr) around f8. I would stop down to a smaller aperture to get a better depth of field. JMHO
tdpriest 115 Posted April 24, 2009 Nice subjects! Have you tried cropping off the bottom of the second image to give a 3x4 format, losing the boring bit and putting the scorpion fish on the left to right diagonal? The third image looks over-processed on my screen. Tim
bruceterrill 0 Posted April 24, 2009 They all look just a little 'soft' to me. You need to concentrate the point of focus on the eyes of the fish and the rhinopores of the nudibranchs... IMHO Bruce...
GHP 0 Posted April 25, 2009 OK, I give up. What is #1? Nice shots. I like #2, but the eyes seem a tad out?
cpix 1 Posted April 29, 2009 Between this and your other image improvement post - you are very good at finding interesting subject matter ! I think the colours are slightly off in the 3rd and 4th shots, I agree with GHP regarding the 2nd one - the eye's in focus would have made it even better. I think the first one could be brought up a little in the processing - perhaps something like :
