Ultimate Indo Round 1 (+ Lembeh)

Recommended Posts

Fellow shooters,

Here are some images from the first Ultimate Indo trip (gallery also includes Lembeh).

It was an interesting time, to so say the least.

Unfortunately, the reefs in a number of places we dove had been heavily exploited and it was eye-opening and sad to see this harsh reality.

We had less wide-angle than expected but still a huge amount of macro opportunity to shoot unusual critters and fish.

Most of the images are of juvenile fish, fish behavior with some reefscapes and environmental shots (I’m not a big critter photographer).

Enjoy.

:good: Very nice!!! Love the photos of the 2 pygmy seahorses & 2 morays (so loving!), the surgeon fish larvae is so interesting (learned something new here!) & u have so many beautiful shots of reef fishes (blenny & juve yellow boxfish r so cute!). Wide-angles of the mangrove are beautiful too.

BTW, I'm planning a trip in Bali in September, are there special diving spots you would recommend ? (Sorry if I highjack the topics a bit :good:)

Thierry

Pose your bali question in the dive travel section. Also do a search as much information has been posted about bali.

Cool!

How do you turn out images so quickly? I'm still CS4-ing my Raja Ampat stuff from Seven Seas' voyage in February!

I didn't shoot enough macro, it's quite clear from your gallery....

Tim
