Hello

I though this may help some fellow PC users out there.

One of the problems I was going to run into was some days working on the desktop and some days working on the same projects from the laptop.

I needed something to syc the files from the laptop or desktop hard drive to an external USB hard drive that can move between the two systems.

So I got my hands on Sync Toy, a free app from Microsoft.

It will check, load and update any files either way between the computer drive and external USB one.

Works a treat and was wondering if there are other good programs out there that do the same thing that others use.

Hi Simon

I'm sure there will be something out there for the MAC world.

It scans the files pretty quick for changes etc.

Next thing to do is setting up to receive faxes via email.

Been making telephone calls via VOIP & headset.

I'm beginning to like this mobile computer work thingy stuff.....sitting outside right now as I work listening to Top 40 streaming in from the net.

I really Beyond Compare 2 for Windows, and Chronosync for Mac.

I also really like DropBox for sharing files between teams of people (see Matt's link, above).
