matt215 3 Posted July 16, 2009 i just got a 5d2 and need to upgrade my storage. is a 16gb card enough? i want to shoot video and minimize the number of times i need t oopen my housing. will the extreme iii be fast enough for video? who has the best deals on memory cards? i'm sure this topic has been addressed before, but it seems that as new cameras are released, you have to overhaul your entire storage "set up". I have not set up my 5D yet, but here is a discussion on the cards and timings Mark 5D Christian said the 16 Gig cards were fine. (I have been using Extreme cards in my other cameras for awhile and like them, very reliable). This is one place I check for deals on cards Deal Ram Someone else mentioned shooting with a 32 Gig card, though the price will jump.
BotSO 0 Posted July 16, 2009 I shot video and stills with both an 8gb & 16gb Extreme III. If you want to minimize the number of times you open the housing, 32GB might help you achieve that aim....
