Was going to do the Australian trip (Rodney Fox) this year and then go to Guadalupe next year. Sadly no reply to my emails from Fox so I am taking my $$$ overseas. pmooney 6 Posted October 29, 2009 I'm writing this from teh salon of Nautilus Explorer as we prepare to head out to Guadaloupe. First impressions are fantastic - the boat is huge and well fitted , the diving deck is more than spacious , the crew are very accommodating. Bluwater & white sharks here we come. pwick 0 Posted November 5, 2009 I went with Nautilus Explorer in September and had mixed feelings. The shark action was great and most of the staff was great. The food was pretty bad. There wasn't much air circulation. They let scientist that live on the island use the cages which meant less time for the guests. Several of the staff made negative comments about my Sea Shepherd shirt and how it was a bad organization, then went on to beg for donations to start their own conservation fly over group. The night we arrived, the Solamar V was being sent back to port by the Mexican Navy for chumming the water. Supposedly it was their first night there and the Captain was arrested.
