alastair738 0 Posted February 1, 2010 Hi All, I've got some loc line arms for my ikelite housing and two DS125 strobes. I could get a splitter cord to go from the one port on the housing to both strobes but I already have two EV controllers. Is there an easy way to attach an EV controller to a locline arm? Don't they just fit around the arm?? you might have to take the "top" off and mont them that way...ore you can disassemble the EV mount and the reasemble it on the arm...I took the arm mount off. My little set up: I have mounted them( I've got two) under my kamera housing using "strips"(that's what we call them in Denmark / plastic "handcuffs") and blinding them with good old Duck tape as I use optical kabel. I have found the EV-contreller a littel tricker happy at the surface down to app. 5-6m during Dusk/Dawn Dive's...so I'd recomende blinding them.
