tobbe 0 Posted February 1, 2010 (edited) I'm about to sell my two YS-90 strobes and considering to buy Inon Z-240 or YS-110a instead. What are the pros and cons for those two? I shoot 90% wide angle and use a MDX-D300 housing with a TTL3 adapter (in manual mode most of the time) Thanks Tobbe Edited February 1, 2010 by tobbe

I shoot 90% wide angle and use a MDX-D300 housing with a TTL3 adapter (in manual mode most of the time) Thanks Tobbe The published specs show the z240 to be a little bit more powerful (24 vs. 22 GN in air) and to take a bit longer to recycle from a full dump. I have the 240 and love it, never a problem with them yet. The instructions for the YS110 will be much more intelligible if that will help you make a decision. bvanant 191 Posted February 6, 2010 Thanks! Remember that Scott's post was referring to the older YS110 not the YS110alpha which I believe has a much shorter recycle time. Bill
ce4jesus 1 Posted February 7, 2010 (edited) http://www.digitaldiver.net/strobes.php According to this, the Z240 is slightly faster as well. Edited February 7, 2010 by ce4jesus
