Again the *strategy* behind this entry was to get the image, carrying the message to help save what few warm water areas we have left - especially Three Sisters Springs, seen by many people who would not ordinarily be exposed to a lot of underwater photography. The US Fish and Wildlife Director of the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge is absolutely thrilled! One photograph that is placed where many influential people are exposed to it, really can accomplish a lot, along with combined conservation efforts, to help our manatee who will really need all the help they can get this year in particular (as the huge cold period death toll continues to rise).
