herbko 0 Posted November 3, 2003 I just got my final version uploaded also. And no I didn't copy any of Todd's pics while he slept. Please click http://fototime.com/inv/241CF144630B233 I tried to make it a smaller number but couldn't decide which ones to exclude. Here're a few wide angle shots to show that we didn't spend the whole trip with our noses in the sand.

herbko 0 Posted November 3, 2003 You're making it look easy! Now I have that WA lens, I know it's not as easy as it looks ... -David Thanks David. That lens does take a little getting use to. Especially the lighting for it. I think I mentioned this on the boat, but in case I didn't. You'll need to upgrade at least one of your strobes. I find that the D180 has pretty good coverage but needs more power. I used two of them at Truk and was able to get by using a wide aperture. It would have been tough with one. The beam of your DS50 is too narrow to be used with this lens, you'll get a hot spot unless you pull it way back.
jimbo1946 0 Posted November 4, 2003 Herb - The three you posted are contest winners anywhere, and I was mesmerized by your gallery shots. Nice. Very nice.
james 0 Posted November 4, 2003 Herb, I especially like your Stargazer pic. They usually don't look that dark - it's excellent! Also, your squid shot - woohoo! The whole gallery and this whole sharing experience REALLY makes me wish I was there. James
craig 0 Posted November 4, 2003 I especially like your Stargazer pic. They usually don't look that dark - it's excellent! Or that colorful. You captured the skull-look that makes it especially creepy.
jnsgonda 0 Posted November 7, 2003 Herb, Spectacular as always! I really like the #14 Nudibranch (sp?). I've seen a lot of pictures of that particular one but never with so much texture and detail. Wonderful!!! John
