I tried to make it a smaller number but couldn't decide which ones to exclude.

 

Here're a few wide angle shots to show that we didn't spend the whole trip with our noses in the sand.

Thanks David. That lens does take a little getting use to. Especially the lighting for it. I think I mentioned this on the boat, but in case I didn't. You'll need to upgrade at least one of your strobes. I find that the D180 has pretty good coverage but needs more power. I used two of them at Truk and was able to get by using a wide aperture. It would have been tough with one. The beam of your DS50 is too narrow to be used with this lens, you'll get a hot spot unless you pull it way back.

I especially like your Stargazer pic. They usually don't look that dark - it's excellent!

 

Also, your squid shot - woohoo!

 

The whole gallery and this whole sharing experience REALLY makes me wish I was there.

I really like the #14 Nudibranch (sp?). I've seen a lot of pictures of that particular one but never with so much texture and detail. Wonderful!!!
