Alastair 2 Posted September 16, 2010 I am looking at the Fisheye housing for my wifes G11 - i have a YS-90DX that i used to use and is still in good condition - can it be used with a fibreoptic cable from the Fisheye (or any) housing? I want to replace it with a Inon later but just to get going..... And if i do use it with fibre optic will i get TTL exposure? thanks..
pmooney 6 Posted September 16, 2010 Yes - you could use this with the G11. The strobe just needs to be switched to SLAVE ON. No - you wont get TTL with this combo.
Alastair 2 Posted September 20, 2010 ok thanks. For TTl exposure is there a recommended strobe? Inon 2000 or Z240?
onewolf 2 Posted September 25, 2010 ok thanks. For TTl exposure is there a recommended strobe? Inon 2000 or Z240? My wife likes her dual S&S YS-01s with the G10/Fix. She was going to get the Inon S2000, but then S&S released the new YS-01 strobe and it has built in focus light which the S2000 does not.
ChrigelKarrer 52 Posted September 26, 2010 The Inon D-2000 has a built-in focus light, automatic mode, 2 strobe tubes and work perfect with the G11. Chris
