A few tubeworm shots from cold water

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

I decided to post a few shots of a boring subject, well known to most of You - tubeworms. These are from Norway, shot this summer in a relatively bad vis.

I'm heading back there in a few weeks, so I would be glad to get You'r oppinion. What could be done better on a reshoot etc.

Hope You like them and thanks in advance for You'r thoughts ;)

These are great! The lighting makes them look like fireworks.

I like the way the backscatter in the third looks like stars!

The second could do with a bit more light onto the worm.

Well done though: a great take on the subject.

Thanks guys!

Adam, I like the last one most myself as well. I think it's the only shot I have, where backscatter adds to the picture ;)

Hi Karel,

I'm loving the light on the first image, congrats partner. Was the strobe about 10 o'clock and high?

Cheers,

Steve

Steve

Yeah, the position of the strobe was around 10 o'clock, but not very high. It's just amazing how narrow the light beam can be and it still lights up the whole fan! It's like You introduce just a little bit of light and it starts to glow from inside :D

Cheers

Karel
