scubamarli 5 Posted October 12, 2010 It's probably something obvious, but I am so far stumped. The angle doesn't help. Anyone recognize him? Cheers, Marli
Kilili 0 Posted October 12, 2010 Hi Marli, That's George, I think. Kind of looks like a Tyler variant. I'll be there next month. Maybe I'll get lucky. Which site?
Nick Hope 151 Posted October 12, 2010 Marli, Here's a Canthigaster solandri at night from the Similan Islands. Looks like a pretty good match but the cheek markings don't quite match. There are a few other similar tobies to take a look at too.
scubamarli 5 Posted October 13, 2010 (edited) Hey, Nick, Looks closer than anything I've managed to find., but I have no view of the dorsal spot, and the lines are so black. Still not sure. Maybe I will annoy Gerry Allen again. He ia always so pleasantly helpful. No, I won't share his email. Thanks, Marli Edited October 13, 2010 by scubamarli
