Proud Daddy; R.J.Dunlap Marine Conservation Program

Recommended Posts

So now I get to live my life vicariously through my daughter Kyra, a freshman at the University of Miami, Marine Sciences Program. Hardly there a couple of months and already recruited by Neil Hammerschlag to participate in a shark tagging program run through the R.J. Dunlap Marine Conservation Program.

So yesterday was a great day, 2 Hammerheads, a Tiger, a baby Atlantic Bottlenose, and a Mako tagged.... yes a Mako near Tavernier Florida, how cool is that. Apparently the first Mako ever tagged with a satellite tag. These guys are doing great work, so if anyone feels the urge to donate, the R.J. Dunlap program does great work and needs all the help it can get. http://www.rjd.miami.edu/
