If you are talking 16mm equivalent then that would mean setting the 7-14 to 8mm just like the fish eye. I can tell you at 8mm the 7-14 will give you excellent pictures out of the housing. In the housing the port can/will affect the IQ and I don't know that setup. The fish eye will give you a round distorted view that is an interesting effect but has limited use as far as I'm concerned. If you want clean strait lines then go with the 7-14 of maybe the 9-18 but the GF1 won't auto correct on the Oly glass. I hope I understood your question and was helpful.
