Ferg42 13 Posted February 5, 2011 Which housing mounting accessory have you guys gotten? (I don't mean the new viewer) I am pondering the helmet one but assume it still mounts to a housing. Cheers Todd Hi Todd, I got the helmet one, but it comes with a load of different mounts as well. One which wasn't included, but I've found useful on various occasions is a tripod mount, so the gopro can be mounted to anything with a normal tripod bolt- like gorillapods- I also drilled a small hole through the front of my dome port shade so I could mount the gopro on this with a standard tripod thumbwheel thingy whatever they're called. briand123 3 Posted March 3, 2011 I bought a Sartek housing for GoPro Hero HD to work around the underwater focus issue. The quality of the modification is excellent, and they pressure tested it to 250 fsw pressure before shipping. I think it was around $100. There was no vignetting at all at 1080p mode. However, and 1280x720, there was vignetting. Hoping that GoPro will fix their stock housing so that there is no need to buy a 3rd party housing to deal with this going forward. Steve Douglas 16 Posted March 13, 2011 Okay, I admit I am a dummy sometimes. I just noticed the little button on the lower right of the GoPRO HERO, went to the owners manual and no where does it even mention what this button is for. So could someone fill me in. I am loving this little monitor and it makes going through the settings even easier. Not sure how much I will be using it but it is pretty cool. Steve
