Diving in the Maldives

Hello,

 

I had the chance to dive in the Maldives recently.

I was on a 2 weeks live-aboard in the very deep south of the Maldives.

Great shots, like the moody feel of the over/unders. One comment, the divers lights seem a little strong, otherwise great shots.

With #12 - Did you move your camera from left to right fairly fast to track the fish? I am just wondering because the fish don't seem to have motion blur but the coral does...

Thanks, actually the diver was using a small 6 Leds light at 40%. I need to work with models so the beam of light is not directly directed to the dome.

I was holding my housing out of the water, and the strobes were over the housing... heavy, very heavy ;-)

You are correct. The fish were in motion, but they were not that fast. I tried a couple of shots, but the motion blur was not great, so I tried to add some motion with a movement of the camera following the the fishes.
