Mamel 3 Posted March 10, 2011 Hi. Have a canon s95 with canon housing. Was considering an Inon s2000 strobe solution but have been recommended the sea and sea 110a .................... pro and cons please help !!!! Both very good strobe. S2000 is very small, compact and solid. more sensitive sensor 110a more powerful, more features ie. target light, sync. cord
JKrumsick 3 Posted March 11, 2011 Are you planning on using an optical sync or electrical?
tdpriest 115 Posted March 12, 2011 Why the S2000 and not the Z240? What are you planning to shoot? The Sea & Sea 110a sits between the two, and so seems like a good deal, but I don't know many people who actually use one... ... I use S2000s for macro and lightweight travelling (and they do cover a wide-angle image, although perhaps the f-stop is a little low to give the best results) and Z240s for wide-angle when I can carry everything. Two Inon S2000 strobes, Tokina 10-17mm lens at 12mm. Tim
buceo 2 Posted March 12, 2011 The S2000 is a good choice in this poste all the pictures are take with S90 and 2xS2000 http://wetpixel.com/forums/index.php?showt...mp;#entry275094
leepix 1 Posted March 16, 2011 I am shooting single D2000 which has very useful External Auto feature for flash control. I use INON WAL 100 which D2000 can cover (must be careful with aiming) due to its dual strobe tubes in T configuration. Also Inon strobes are warmer than some, not sure about temp of S&S? Did you do a comparison in Strobe Finder?
