Thanks to http://www.heinrichsweikamp.net So I hope that I understand correctly??? Inon Z240 Manuel for Nikon D90 with TTL converter. Move switch1 into M (And choose power with Switch 2) or Full. This for for manuel. Manuel is only possible if you put the camera in Rear-Flash sync mode. If your camera does not fire a pre-flash, ACC must be disabled. The Z-240 supports Nikonos V compatible TTL protocol via sync cable connection. The setting of the Z-240 will be; Main Dial => S-TTL EV Control Dial => TTL (9 o’clock position) Advanced Cancel Circuit Switch => Press and lock Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

diver dave1 23 Posted June 22, 2011 It seems you are not going to be using fiber optics, so I am of little help. Here are some dry tests you might consider. When you have everything set as you desire, test fire into a mirror several feet away. Both flashes should show firing in the photo. If not, you have issues to address. Then test fire in a dark room and see if you are getting the lighting you desire. You should be able to adjust the flash up/down and see the room get brighter/dimmer. These are not all conclusive but if these do not work, you may have trouble underwater. When I was starting diving and adjusting settings with this setup, I sometimes moved the Advanced Cancel Circuit Switch by accident. Fat fingers in a skinny world perhaps. Then I find one IN and one OUT on the 2 strobes. To make certain I have it correct, I put both in one position, take a test photo, move them both, take another test photo. Then review the photo's on the camera at that moment. This tells me which way to set them again during the dive. After you do this a few times, you remember which setting to use.
