Oring size for Nikonos end plug

Recommended Posts

Hi wetpixel-members

I've got another problem.

The orings of my end plugs for my strobes are looking really bad - so I need new ones.

Does anybody know which size of orings I have to buy?

Are these DIN, BS or AS sizes?

Best regards from Germany

Nils

If you can not locate any in a U/W photo shop, go to an industrial 'O' ring supplier with your old rings and strobe. They have a o ring measiring cone to get the size. Make sure you get soft 'durometer' rings.

The Nikonos Camera started life as the Calypsophot, designed for Jacques Cousteau, in 1956, by the Belgian engineer Jean De Wouters. The original lens was a Som Berthiot 35mm f/3.5, with a flat glass front port, mounted on the special waterproof bayonet.
