Strobe options for seacam housing?

Recommended Posts

Need a little help........

I have a Canon eos-1 DS II with a seacam housing.

The seacam has a 6 pin bulkhead connection.

Is a seacam seaflash my only choice?

..............Still trying to get in the water.

Not to worry - you can get a sync cord with S6Nikonos, S6Ikelite, or S6Inon/Sea&Sea connector for use with a variety of strobes. I believe SeacamUSA will sell these direct and our sponsors (on the right side of the page) often carry versions as well.

Good advise from Matt. I use the S6 bulkheads on my Seacam housings, but have cords for Seacam, Ikelite, and Inon ... depending on which strobe is to be used at the time. S6 is so good, I remain continually perplexed that the archaic Nikonos V remains the default bulkhead for so many housings. http://www.seacamusa.com/s6-connector.shtml
