Travy 0 Posted September 8, 2011 (edited) The viz was pretty good actually,after the storm and the wind went,the sea was flat and clear.I must say,the lighting is damn scary during a storm system there,similar to what i experienced one rainy day strolling down Clarke Quay in Singapore,i found myself ducking for cover for fear of being struck I did make the trip down to Park Rynie to do the Tiger Dive with Blue Wilderness,unfortunately only Dusky and Blacktips showed up,and viz was terrible.I dont have any pics though as i was shooting video on that day. Barry Coleman,who is well known in the ZA diving industry told me a number of factors are involved in the fact that there are so few Tiger Sharks being spotted now than before and these include targeted shark fishing and the some of the Tigers getting caught in the nets.This was backed up by some of the other operators there. Drew,im not sure if Allan Walker owns the boat but this is the boat being operated by Mickey and Brett from Agulhas House.Its one of two boats they using at Agulhas House. The old entrance opposite the bottle store is now closed off,the new entrance comes in from the next street going up the hill.This is to accomodate the new dive operation.
