Wild Coast Wanderings

Finally got around to putting some of my Sardine Run 2011 photos online... While it was not the best year in terms of weather and the sardines did not really put in an appearance, it was still an awesome trip and the Wild Coast has a way of getting under your skin. Enjoy.

Hi Jean!

 

Great shots!! I like most the one with a bunch of dolphins jumping out of a wave - what a sight!!

Wow! Amazing shots. The dolphin pod in the wave is very good, and so are the gannet shots. I have never seen pictures of the gannet-cormorant struggle, really cool pics of that.

And this was a bad year? You got some awesome shots. I especially like the second underwater shot of the dolphins, nice and wide to show the whole scene. What's up with the birdy at the end? He looks like he's having a bad day.
