Wanted: UNDERWATER HOUSING for Sony HD-SR11/SR12

Hi fellow divers,

 

I just got my hands on a Sony HDR-SR11 and would like to take it underwater to document my coral research off of Lizard Island, Australia. But first, I need an affordable underwater housing and some practice! I'm a college student working part-time to fund a true passion for photography and videography, and for the reason, my price range is limited to $800 or less.

 

I am currently interested in the Equinox HD6 but am open to any other housing (universal housings, light & motion, ikelite, amphibico etc). I am also looking into a lighting system such as the Sunray 1000.

 

Any comment/suggestion/advice is welcomed!
