Osprey 0 Posted April 24, 2012 Like many of you I guess .. I have an ever growing digital picture collection. After almost every trip I get requests asking for a copy of the pictures .... up until now I have just given them a copy of CD or memory stick. However as I go to effort of getting best I can out of them with Photoshop ... be good to be a bit more professional on sharing a disc. I had originally been pointed to use ProShow Gold .... but haven't bought it yet. I do have Sony Vegas Movie Sudio HD ........... which is what I use for video, I could create a video of the pics ........ be interested how forum members share their pics (other than on-line sources) I would prefer not to go buy yet another software package ... but will stay open minded. decosnapper 34 Posted April 24, 2012 ...be interested how forum members share their pics (other than on-line sources) Regardless of how the images are shared....Always make sure the recipient understands fully what they can do with them. Examples might be:- Personal use only, no publication Ask permission before you publish anything above personal use Facebook wall Taking to the local printers for hard copy Use by a commercial entity for promotion/PR Assignation of copyright.. The order is no mistake...the value increases (depending on who of course) the lower down the list you go. Making it crystal clear is in both your and the users interest. It saves misunderstanding later.
okuma 64 Posted April 24, 2012 I use ProShow Gold. In response to my inquiry to them, I was told that after the show is out putted to a format, the images can not be 'stolen' from the final out putted show. However this is not relative to the show file you build up in the computer. Don't send this one out!
