Normally we'll try four or five images in a various cover layouts, just because they look so much different with text in place and color accents. So, it won't be another shark cover, and something more in synch with our coverage of the National Marine Sanctuaries program and the beautiful marine life off our shores. buddy 7 Posted November 6, 2012 this whitie is huge relative to the divers. Is this a natural shot or a photoshop composition with changes in sizing? Taken with a 14mm II lens on a Canon 5DMKII, but with a submersible Seacam polecam (cage-to-cage) so the dome was quite near the shark. Here is the final cover we ran for the new Alert Diver, photo by Bob Talbot. It is now printed, after an arduous 3 days on press in Wisconsin, and will arrive member mailboxes beginning next week.
