warning points????

Recommended Posts

If you look under my profile, to the left, you will see, "0 warning points." What's that all about and why is it there for me and not for other people?

everyone has it.. not just you :)

us Mods can give people warnings if they misbehave on here but posting things such as spam or getting out of line with personal attacks etc. We don't typically have to use it though... people on here are quite civilized unlike other forums around.

Phew that's a relief, I'd thought you'd found a way to publicize my driving license endorsements!

Warning points is what I got a few years ago for suggesting Nancy Pelosi was statesmanlike! (Who's laughing now?)

Thanks. So, I only see "warning points" on MY posts? That explains that. How many points can I get?

I think we should go for the highest score...kinda like ScubaBoard. We could have handicaps too. I see a whole new sport...

Hi,

i have 0 warning points.

To my knowledge i have not done anything, out of the ordinary, apart from take part in the forums.

I did at least two years ago let everyone know the name of a fraudster, who conned me & another out

of over £500 GBP each. I don't know if this counts.

Tim,

I replied to your enquiry months ago too!

On a more general note and to confirm Mike's excellent response above. Everyone can see THEIR warning points (or lack thereof). No one can see anyone else's warning points, except for Wetpixel staff.

We very rarely use the points system. We tend to try and sort any issues out by communicating with people smile.png

Good or bad (points that is)!

Mike has some, but they are mostly good points. Unfortunately, they don't display on the forum either.

Maybe you could impliment a system so we the collective forum can warn/praise the mods? It could be a great way to keep Wetpixel all "shipshape and Bristol fashion"! :D

Cheers, Simon
