saudio 6 Posted November 12, 2012 I have a Word document with the URL's and image tags of all my photos. When I select, copy and paste the URL's from the document to this text box, I get the following. Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000187 EndHTML:0000002998 StartFragment:0000002525 EndFragment:0000002962 SourceURL:file://localhost/Users/mike/Desktop/Word%20Files/ImagePostingNotes.dochttp://www.azurerealm.com/albums/Komodo-Underwater/blenny_3621.jpg On every other fourm I've posted on, when I paste in the URL i get....the URL. Any help? Here is what that mess above is supposed to look like. And this is what it looks like everywhere else.
MikeVeitch 0 Posted November 12, 2012 nice photo Not sure about the problem.. are you pasting it straight into the post or clicking on the image icon and pasting it into the box?
saudio 6 Posted November 12, 2012 nice photo Not sure about the problem.. are you pasting it straight into the post or clicking on the image icon and pasting it into the box? Thanks mike! No, it's the oddest thing. As I said, after I upload my photos from a trip I list them all in a word doc with forum image tags already at the beginning and end of the urls. That way when I post images in a forum, I just select the url with tags, copy, and paste into the box. So, I'm not using the image icon. And I can move to another forum, and paste the same line, and it does not include any of the added text you see above. Been doing it this way for years, including here. gina 9 Posted November 12, 2012 I can't tell you why that's happening, but I can tell you that if you edit out everything before "http" you will have a valid link: Version:1.0 StartHTML:0000000187 EndHTML:0000002998 StartFragment:0000002525 EndFragment:0000002962 SourceURL:file://localhost/Users/mike/Desktop/Word%20Files/ImagePostingNotes.dochttp://www.azurereal...blenny_3621.jpg Just erase the crossed-out bits and you will be left with the location of your image. Wetpixel appears to recognize the URL and automatically change it into a link. -Gina
saudio 6 Posted November 12, 2012 I figured out a work-around. I copied the file onto a Note in MacMail, then copied it from there. I'll post some pics in a few minutes.
