Meeting area at Jakarta domestic airport?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good group meeting area in the departures area of the domestic terminal at Jakarta airport? It looks like there is a McDonalds there, which is big and recognizable, but I hate the idea of meeting at a McDonalds.

I assume you are taking Lion to AMQ? Isn't that @ T1A? T1 is a bit old school. You could also use the Lion Lounge which is inside. There's an A&W that I used to meet my friend once while craving a root beer float in T1A! McD is in T2 so make sure you tell people not to look for that!

Mike, most domestic lines are in T1 except Garuda which is T2 no? I was in T2 earlier this year and remember there was a Starbucks there. Eric, don't forget to buy some luwak kopi. You'll never want Starbucks crap again!

Lion also has some flights in the Air Asia terminal.. the Jkt to Bali flights for instance. Now that is a nice terminal! with Jco even..

Is the old ugly domestic called T1? I can't remember haha, i thought it was called T2... it doesn't have much of anything after checking in and going up the stairs. Outside there are a few of places you mention though.

Hrm. Lion Jakarta to Ambon.

 

It looks like Lion flies out of a bunch of terminals, but most online sources say that the flight will likely leave out of 1A. I may use A&W. Drew, does the Lion lounge cost money? Thank you.

Yes Eric, the direct flight JT790 leaves from T1A, or at least it use to.

Re Lounge: I can't remember how much I paid but I did manage to get the non-biz flyer in with the rest of us. Sorry.
